Maui's Rainbow of fresh produce

 

I absolutely love what sauces do to transform food, particularly vegetables.  Maui has a sublime climate not only for locals and visitors alike, but also for growing food.

Here’s a recipe for another magical super sauce I put on EVERYTHING.  It’s lovely on fresh picked greens and grilled vegetables and positively transformative on fish, chicken and beef.

Tahini Braggs Wonder Sauce

1/2 cup Sesame Tahini (I love Living Tree Community Foods)

1/4 cup Braggs Amino Acids

Juice and Zest of one lemon ( I love Meyer lemon when I can find it)

1/8 cup Braggs Apples Cider Vinegar

4 Tbl. Shoyu or Tamari (I like the gluten free tamari)

1/2 cup walnut oil

1/4 cup olive oil

Sea Salt to taste

Whirl all these ingredients in a Vita Mix, blender or food processor.  Trust me, you will want to make a batch of this sauce every week and pour it on everything you eat.  Delish.
